EFFIE COPLEY

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, 2 p.m. at the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Effie Wiley Copley, of
Rydal, Ga., who passed away Thursday, April 5 at Calhoun
Health Care Center in Calhoun, Ga.
Mrs. Copley was born Dec. 31, 1911 in Johnson County, Ky.,
daughter of the late Merida Bud and Carrie Stapleton Wiley.
She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delbert
Copley, and one daughter, Ruth Gray.
Surviving are a son-in- law, the Rev. Bill Gray of Calhoun;
one brother, Clarence Wiley of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters,
Bessie Haar of Laurens, S.C., and Madge Ray of South
Carolina; and five grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
The service was officiated by the Revs. Charles Copley and
George Gray, with burial in the Johnson County Memorial
Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
