Shirley "Shark" Daniel, 91, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at Hall
Medical Center.
  
The Johnson County native was born March 10, 1910, the son of the
late Frank and Mahala Preston Daniel.
  
He was a retired sawmill operator.
  
He is survived by two brothers, Norton Daniel of Paintsville and
Jess Daniel of Prestonsburg; and two sisters, Ethel Penix of New
York and Maybeth Fraley of West Virginia.
  
The funeral will be 1 p.m. today at the Concord United Baptist
Church, with Charles Price officiating.
  
Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery in Thelma, Ky.
  
Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville is handling the arrangements.
