Boons Camp resident Ora Daniels, 80, died January 21 in Paintsville
Hospital after an extended illness.

Born April 4, 1901, in Johnson County, he was the son of Josh and Matilda
Preston Daniels and was a retired miner.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Perry Daniels, who he married in February,
1922; three sons, Ora Odd Daniels, Logan, W. Va. Oliver Daniels, Boons
Camp, Donnie Daniels, Taylor, Mich.; four daughters, Lucille Austin,
Camden, Ohio, Margie King, Detroit, Mich, Elva Collins, Hager Hill and
Barbara Lawson, Detroit, Mich., four brotehrs, John and Norman Daniels,
Boons Camp, Orville Daniels, West Van Lear, and Shilo Daniels,
Chapmanville, W.Va.; two sisters Callie Coolins, Van Lear, and Stella Mae
Lackey, Boons Camp, 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 24, in Boons Camp Freewill
Baptist Church with Jimmy Daniels officiating.

Burial was in Ora Daniels Cemetery, Boons Camp, with Preston-Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
