Funeral services were held Thursday, August 29, 1 p.m. at
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Mary Kathryn Davis, 70,
who passed away Tuesday, August 27 at Kings Daughters’
Medical Center.
Mrs. Davis was born April 26, 1932 in Johnson County,
daughter of the late James Fraley and Bessie Newcomb Fraley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles E. Davis.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy Cooper of Lexington, Joan
Tackett of Thelma, and Karen Hencye of Ashland; five
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Rev. Roy Penix, with burial
following in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville.
