JENNIE DIXON
Jennie Dixon
Hager Hill resident, Jennie Dixon 95, died Thursday,
September 28 1993 in Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Dixon was born December 2, 1897, in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late Isom and Martha Van Hoose Daniel. She
was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Dixon, m.
1976.
Surviving are three sons, Walter and Raymond Dixon, both of
Florida, and Chester Dixon of Texas, six daughters, Flora
Osborne of Hager Hill, Virgie Olson of Chicago, Illinois,
Addie Castle of Tomahawk, Martha Taylor of Strunk, Rosanna
Dow of Tampa, Florida, and Hattie Grim of Niagara Falls, New
York, and 54 grandchildren and several great and great great
great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30 in Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Walter Adams officiating.
Burial was in Osborne Cemetery at Hager Hill.
