LORETTA DODD
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 9,1999 for
Loretta Dodd, 59, who died December 5 at
Baptist Hospital East, Louisville.
Mrs. Dodd was born April 28, 1940, at Wheelwright, to
Mazie Caudill Stanford and the late Ross Stanford.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Louisville.
Surviving are her husband, John Dodd Sr.; her mother; three
sons, Danny Dodd of Dallas, Georgia, John Dodd Jr. of
Louisville and Frain Diaz Jr. of Geneva, Ohio; four
daughters, Carol Sue Hall of Detroit, Michigan, Billy Lou
Hall of Indiana, Casandra Hall of Geneva, Ohio, and
Patricia DeSherlia of Louisville; two brothers, John and
Paul Hall,both of Jonancy; three sisters, Phyllis Syck
of Pikeville, Charlotte Draper of Elkhorn City and Patty
Sowards of Jonancy; and 14 grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
Officiating at services at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel was
Rev. David M. Lewis.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville.
