DOROTHY DYER
Van Lear resident, Dorothy Dyer, 59, died March 13, 1996 at
U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
She was born in Stiltner, West Virginia on Jan.06,1937, the
daughter of James D. and Ifa Adkins Matthews.
Mrs. Dyer is survived by her husband, Bill Dyer; one son, Bill
Tack Dyer of Hager Hill; two daughters, Jeannie Lemaster of
Hager Hill and Paula Blair of West Van Lear; two sisters,
Lucille Napier of Lavalette, West Virginia and Charlene Finley
of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren and
two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Murray, Bob McCool, Bobby Holbrook,
Tim Howard, Mack Roberts, John Phillip Webb, Gary Crum,
Ivan Huff and John Pat McCort
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services were March 16, 1996 at the Freewill Baptist
Church in Van Lear with Rev. Manford Fannin and
Rev. Lowell Webb officiating.
Burial was at Johnson County Memorial in Staffordsville.
