BURTON FITCH

Burton Fitch, 68, died Saturday, September 27, in Paintsville Hospital
following an extended illness.
 
The son of the late Isabore and Fannie Welch Fitch, he was born in Johnson
County, August 12, 1907. A resident of Paintsville, he was retired and was a
member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are his wife, Enola Mae Castle Fitch, two sons, Glen and Gary L.
both of Paintsville, two daughters, Willa Dean Cole and Verlie Mae Brink,
both of Paintsville, three brothers, Sam of Paintsville, Jessie of
Springfield, and Norman of Michigan; three sisters, Ruth Meade of Ashland,
Sebra Cottle of Piketon, OH and Ruby Wells of Tutor Key.
  
Funeral services were held Monday, September 29 in the First Freewill
Baptist church at Paintsville with Reverend Charles Stapleton officiating.
 
Burial was in the family cemetery at Thealka.
 
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
