MILT GRIM
1897-1974
 
Milt Grim, 76, of Nippa, died at his home Monday, May 6, after an
extended illness.
 
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Grim was a retired coal miner. He was
born July 3, 1897, the son of the late Lewis and Georgana Williams
Grim.
 
His first wife, Audrey Coyer Grim preceded him in death on June 24,
1965.
 
He is survived by his second wife, Jennie Grim; four sons, Clyde
Thomas of Gilforn, CT, Kenneth Ray of Ypsilanti, MI, Carl Douglas of
Naugatuck, CT, and Bobby Gene of Nippa; seven daughters, Gloria June
VanHoose of Dearborne Heights, MI, Colleen Joyce Williams of
Paintsville, Patsy Ruth Hall of Vero Beach, FL, Geraldine Castle of
Cincinnati, OH, Madeelyn Gail Stanton of Fayetteville, NC, and Kathy
Lynn Bently of Elyria, OH; 31 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren;
four brothers, Walter Grim, Thurman Grim, Benny Grim and Edgar Grim,
all of Nippa and two sisters, Zelphia Grim of Vero Beach and Bessie
Picklesimer of Ft. Pierce, FL.
 
Funeral services for Mr. Grim were held Thursday, May 9, in the Mouth
of Rush Freewill Baptist Church at Nippa where he was a member.
 
Reverends Bruce Daniels and Francis Rice officiated.
 
Burial was in the Grim Family Cemetery at Nippa with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
