Exer Holbrook died at her home at Williamsport Friday, May 16,
1975, at the age of 75 after a brief illness.

Mrs. Holbrook was preceded in death by her husband, Kenis Holbrook.

She as born December 27, 1899, the daughter of the late Asbury and
Laura Bell Ward.

She was a member of the United Baptist Church.

She is a survived by one son, Kenis Holbrook, Jr., residing in
Marion, Ohio, seven daughters, Betty Ward of Columbus, Ohio; Doris
Lee of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; Dorothy Childers of Thelma;
Kathreen Daniels, Gwen Williamson, Pauline Duty, and Juanita
Preston, all of Williamsport; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Johnson
and Mrs. Sally Daniels, both of Thelma.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, May 18, 1975, at
the Old Friendship United Baptist Church in Williamsport.

The officiating ministers were Nim Sturgill, Earl Muncy, Glen
Arrowood, and Charles Price.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Thelma, under the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home.
