KENNIS HOLBROOK
1900-1971

Kennis Holbrook, a retired C & O Railroad worker, passed away June 7
in his Williamsport home.

He was 71. His parents were the late Harry And Sarah Rowland Holbrook
of Johnson County.

Survivors include his wife, Exer Ward Holbrook; a son in Marion,
Ohio, Keenis Holbrook, and seven daughters, Dorothy Childers of
Thelma, Katherine Daniels and Juanita Preston of Williamsport,
Pauline Duty of Blaine, Ohio and Betty Ward and Gwen Williamson from
Columbus, Ohio.

Also surviving are three brothers, Walter and Dewey Holbrook of
Thelma, and Dencil Holbrook from Wheelwright; two sisters, Vernie
Blanton of Oil Springs and Elizabeth Barker of Betsy Lane; 25
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Glen Arrowood, Nim Sturgill
and Earl Muncy conducted services June 10 in the Old Friendship
United Church.

Burial followed in the family cemetery at Thelma, with the Jones and
Preston Funeral Home in charge of all the arrangements.
