RUBY HORNE
1921-1998
Ruby Gertrude Horne, 77, of Staffordsville, died Saturday,
May 30, 1998 at Highlands Regional Medical
Center in Prestonsburg.
She was born February 22, 1921, in Johnson County, the
daughter of Jack and Viola Spears Bowens.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Horne; one son
Wilbur Lee Horne of Lucasville, Ohio; two daughters,
Bureda Sue Collier and Jeretta Kay Howard,
both of Springfield, Ohio; one brother, Raymond Bowens
of Van Lear; one sister, Norma Lou Young of Van Lear;
13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were June 2, at Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Dick VanHoose officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery
in Staffordsville.
