JUANITA JOHNSON
1920-2002
Juanita Johnson, 82, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Aug. 1,
at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born June 24, 1920, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of
the late Lindsay Blair and Sina Blanton Blair. She was a
retired cook for Starfire Restaurant and member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Moore; and two
daughters, Eleanor Stevens and Helen Marie Moore.
Survivors include a son, Ray Moore of Van Lear; three
brothers, Carl Blair of Bowling Green, Howard Blair of
Springfield, Ohio, and Glennis Blair of Thelma; a sister,
Linda Cantrell; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at
Paintsville Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Williams
officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
