GEORGE MCKENZIE
1921-1998
George McKenzie, 77, died December 26, 1998 at Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center, Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.
Mr. McKenzie was born June 5, 1921, in Johnson County, to the
late George Dewey and Lula Dills McKenzie.
He was a laborer.
Surviving are his wife, Olga Lee McKenzie; four sons, James W,
of Paintsville, David Lee and Harold Eugene,
both of West Van Lear, and Ernest Ray of Hager Hill;
one daughter, Sandra Moore of Springfield, Ohio; one brother,
Charles D. McKenzie of Springfield; one sister, Corine Koogler
of Springfield; and 16 grandchildren and
eight greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 29, at Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Robert Baker officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery
at Staffordsville.
