Jackie Lynn Meek, 39, of River, died
Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at Morehead.
  
Born Nov. 15, 1962, in Johnson County, she was a daughter
of the late Aaron Jackson and Dianna Blanton Meek.
  
Survivors include a son, Jarrid Ashley Combs of
Staffordsville; a daughter, Mika Lynn Castle of
Wittensville; three brothers, Russell Meek of Paintsville,
Gerald Meek of Thelma and Terry Meek of Dayton, Ohio.; and
a grandson.
  
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastside
Freewill Baptist Church, Thelma, with Harry Frisby and Van
West officiating.
  
Burial will be in Blanton/Childers Cemetery, Thelma, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
