CORA MOORE
1891-1973
Cora Moore, 82, died at her home at Thealka on Thursday, November 8, after
an extended illness.
The daughter of the late Jim and Jane Bowens Blevins, she was born at Offutt
on September 15, 1891 and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Moore, on July 14, 1952.
Surviving are one son, Hershell Miller, of Ashland; a sister, Tillie Daniels
of Columbus; two brothers, Ransom Blevins of Jacksonville, FL and Levi
Blevins of London, OH.
Services were held in the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday,
November 11, with Reverends Don Fraley and Scott Castle officiating.
Burial was in the Thealka Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of
the Preston Funeral Home.
