Ray Music,64 4240 Wilshire Drive, Marion Indiana, died
at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 1999,
at Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Van Lear,Johnson County Ky., Nov. 21, 1934,
and had lived in Marion since 1960.

He and his wife Doris were married 32 years.

He attended Van Lear City School. While serving in the
Army, he was stationed in Germany. He was a die setter
for General Motors for 38 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 977 union,
sympathy club. 

Surviving are his wife, Doris, of Marion; a daughter
and son-in-law, Ralph D. and Sheri Music-Cornell, Kokomo;
sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Joe Castle,
Wurtland, Ky.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and
Carrie Music and Robert and Florence Music,
all of Wabash.

He was preceded in death by his brother Lee C. Music,
who died in 1995.

The Raven Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion Ind.,
was in charge of arrangements. 

Randy Blackaby officiated. 

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, Johnson County, Ky.
