Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999
for Beulah Jenkins Pennington, 91, who died Saturday, Oct. 30,
at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Pennington was born September 22, 1908, to the late
Columbus and Nancy Patrick Jenkins. She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Ray Pennington, on May 2, 1997.
Surviving are four sons, Ronnie and Jack Pennington, both of
Flat Gap, Clay Pennington of Martha and Buell Jenkins of
Columbus, Ohio; five daughters, Verna Salyers of Galloway,
Ohio, Gladys Gillem of Pickerton, Ohio, Sylvia Wright of Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida, and Stella Shockley and Esther Pennington,
both of Columbus; one brother, Joe Jenkins of West Liberty;
and 34 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 13
great-great-grandchildren.
Officiating at 11 a.m. services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel will be Elders Sammie Reed and Frankie Williams.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
