RAY PENNINGTON

Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Ray Pennington, 84, who died Friday, May 2, 1997 at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.
Mr. Pennington was born November 20, 1912, in Morgan County,
to the late Walker and Oma Young Pennington.
He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah Jenkins Pennington; three sons,
Ronnie and Jack, both of Flat: Gap, and Clay of Martha; one
stepson, Buell Jenkins of Columbus, Ohio; five daughters,
Verna Salyers of Galloway, Ohio, Gladys Gillem of Pickerton,
Ohio, Sylvia Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Stella
Shockley and Esther Pennington, both of Columbus; four
brothers, James and Frank, both of Flat Gap, and Ren and
Franklin, both of Red Bush; two sisters, Sylvia Patrick of
Flat Gap and Susie Fyffe of Baltimore, Maryland; and 34
grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren
and 11 great-great-grand-children.
Funeral services were held Monday May 5, at Jones- Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Lowell Webb and Joe Oliver Jenkins
officiating.
