RILDA PENNINGTON
1935-1999
Rilda Historia Perry Pennington, 63, died Thursday,
July 8, 1999 at her Flat Gap residence.
Mrs. Pennington was born July 31, 1935, in Johnson County,
to Mary E. Ramey Perry and the late Cam C. Perry.
She was also preceded in death by her husband,
Earl Pennington, on April 13, 1990.
Surviving are her mother; three sons, Chester L. Pennington
of Red Bush, Darrell Pennington of Flat Gap and
Lester Pennington of Louisa; three daughters, Genevieve
and Geneva Pennington, both of Flat Gap, and
Carol F VanHoose of Stambaugh; two brothers, Dewel J. and
Dewey C. Perry, both of Hillard, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 11, at Peaceful
Valley Independent Church, Flat Gap,
with Eual McKenzie officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery
at Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
