WILLIAMSPORT WOMAN DIES APRIL 12
    
Mrs. Alka Ward Preston, 62, wife of Paris Preston, died Saturday
afternoon at her home at Williamsport.
  
Surviving besides her husband are five children Mitchell,
Pikeville; Glenn, Hamilton,Ohio; Mrs, Irene Potts, Grandrince,Ohio;
E.J., Williamsport; and Jo Imogene, at home; also one brother and
five sisters; McKinley Ward, City; Mrs. Ella Johnson, Mrs Sally
Daniel, Mrs. Lizzie Meade, and Mrs Exer Holbrook, all of Thelma;
and Mrs. Hettie Daniel, Nippa.
  
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, Bob's Branch, on
Monday, April 14 1947, at 10 a.m.
  
Burial was in the Family Cemetery.
