Robert Dorton Preston, 2 month-old son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Lee
Preston, died suddenly at his home on Fourth Street Saturday
morning, December 21, 1953. Death was attributed to a heart
condition. He was born October 13 1953.
Surviving besides his parents are one brother, David Lee, his
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Dorton, and paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Hopkins Preston.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Preston
Funeral Home with the Rev. William Pettus officiating.
Burial was made in the Preston Cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
