JEWELL SALYER

Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Jewell Salyer, 54, who died October 20, 1998
at her Hager Hill residence.
Mrs. Salyer was born April 22, 1944, in Martin County, to
Aileen Goble and the late Thornton Goble.
She was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Doug Salyer; her mother;
two sons, Robert Allen Salyer of Tennessee and
James Anthony Mullins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri;
three daughters, Misty Gale Salyer of Hager Hill and
Edie Marie Myer and Candice Sue Norris, both of Columbus,
Ohio; two brothers, Willie and Virgel Ray Goble, both of Inez;
three sisters, Nancy Greer and Maggie Flock,
both of Columbus, and Ella Dalton of Inez;
and three grandchildren:
Funeral services were held Friday, October 23, at Chestnut
Grove Enterprise Baptist Church, with Terry Conley
and Ellis Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville.
