JERRY EDWARD SPEARS SR.
1944-2005
  
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30 at 9 a.m. at the
Lexington Avenue Snyder Home for Jerry Edward Spears Jr., 60, of
Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away Wednesday, April 27.
  
Mr. Spears was born November 30, 1944 in Johnson County, Ky., son of
the late Epp and Louise Jackson Spears.
  
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Eugene (Michelle) Spears of Piketon,
Ohio, and Jerry Edward Spears Jr. of Lexington; three daughters,
Kimberly (James) Dollarhide of Wavery, Ohio, Marjorie (Carl II)
McFarland of Cardington, Ohio, and Shauntell Spears and her fiancé,
Brandon Shepherd of New London, Ohio; several siblings, John Setser
of Bellville, Ohio, Velcie (Earl Jr.) Daniels of Alger, Garnet
(Curtis) Lehner and Charles (Lucille) Gray, all of Mansfield, Ohio,
and Will Spears of Hager Hill, Ky.; eight grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
  
The service was officiated by T. J. Waters, with burial in the
Preston Family Cemetery at Thelma, Ky.
  
Arrangements under the direction of Snyder Funeral Homes of
Mansfield, Ohio.
