ROBERT SPRADLIN

Disabled coal miner, Robert "Bud" Spradlin, 58, died Sunday, June 10,
in the Veterans Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia.
 
Mr. Spradlin was born March 30, 1932 in Johnson County, the son of
Olvier and Mandy Pelphrey Spradlin.
  
He was self-employed and a veteran of the United States Army.
  
Surviving are two sons, Robert Spradlin Jr. and Larry K. Spradlin,
both of West Van Lear, one daughter, Ginger Doderer, of West Van
Lear; one sister, Margaret Ratliff, of West Van Lear; and six
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, June 13, at 2 p.m.,
in Concord United Baptist Church, with elders B.C. Ferguson and John
R. Pelphrey officiating.
  
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
