POE LESTER STAPLETON
Staffordsville resident, Poe Lester Stapleton, 74, died
Saturday, June 3, 1995, at Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center, Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.
Mr. Stapleton was born November 19, 1920, in Johnson
County, the son of the late Clayton Stapleton and Rhoda
Cochran. He was a disabled farmer and member of the
United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice V. King Stapleton; two
sons, Poe Lester Stapleton, Jr. of Salyersville and
Larry Wayne Stapleton of Staffordsville; one daughter,
Hazel Lynn Cantrell of Flat Gap; and four
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 6, 1995 at
Fishtrap United Baptist Church, Staffordsville, with
Elders Lonza Reed, Sammy Reed, and Frankie Williams
officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville, Johnson CO Ky.,with Paintsville Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
