MAUDIE TACKETT

Swamp Branch resident Maudie Tackett, 79, died July 23 in J. J. Jordan
Center, Louisa.
  
She was born in Lawrence County, March 6, 1913, the daughter of Harve
VanHoose and Fannie Travis VanHoose.
  
Surviving are her husband, Willie Tackett, four sons, Robert Tackett,
Columbus, OH, Leroy Tackett, Oil Springs, Harold and Raymond Tackett, Swamp
Branch, three daughters, Irene May, Owensboro, Grace Fisher, Billings, MT,
and Ruth Ann Ward, Columbus, two sisters,  Bessie of Dayton, OH and Gracie
of Maysville, OH.
  
Funeral services were held July 25 in Jones- Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Jerry Castle officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Thelma.
