ELIAS WARD

Elias Ward, 67, died Thursday, October 22, 1981, in Allen Park, MI.
Born April 06, 1914, in Lee Co., he was the son of Sherman and
Mary Addison Ward.
Mr. Ward was a resident of Burton, MI., retired from the US Army,
and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church.
His wife, Bernice Davis Ward, preceded him in death, August 01,
1980.
Surviving are eight sons, Damon, Lonnie, and Kevin Ward, Burton,
MI., James Ward Davidson, MI, John, Fred, Carl and Clarence,
Flint, MI; two daughters, Mary Williams, Burton, MI., and Martha
Ward, Grand Blanc, MI., four brother, Fred Ward, Dayton, OH, Paul
Ward, Georgia, Wilbur Ward, IN, and Henry Ward, Covington; a
sister, Diana Judd, IN., 20 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 26, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Lin Butcher officiating.
Burial was in Davis Branch Cemetery in Paintsville.
