KATIE WARD
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday,
September 14 1988, at 11:00 a.m., for Katie Ward, 77.
Mrs. Ward was born September 12 1910 in Johnson County,
the daughter of Albert and Julia Blair Blair.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ward,
in December 1974.
Surviving are three sons, Alcus, of Mt. Carey, Ohio;
Alva, of Colbin, and Douglas, of Dola, Ohio; two daughters,
Shelby Jean Blair, of Dola, and Neve Lee Conley, of
Staffordsville; and 12 grandchildren and
15 great grandchildren.
Officiating at services in Beechwall United Baptist Church
were Elders James H. Blair, Rutherford Blair and Jerry Colvin.
Burial will be Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville, with Paintsville Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
