HERMAN DUGAN WEBB
1902-1974

Herman Dugan Webb, 71 of Paintsville died in a Huntington, W. Va.,
hospital on Monday, June 3, (1974) after an extended illness.

Born September 19, 1902, Mr. Webb was the son of the late Walbridge
and Mintie Conley Webb.

He was a retired employee of the C & O Railroad; a member of the
Masonic Lodge No. 381 F & AM of Paintsville and a member of the
United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice Arms Webb; four sons, Lowell of
Holden, W. Va., Milo of Mt. Sterling and Phillip of Van Lear; nine
grandchildren; and three sisters, Roxie Smith of Mr. Sterling, Malta
DeHart of Shelbana, Kentucky and Geneva Dailey of Cleveland Ohio.

Funeral services for Mr. Webb were held Thursday; June 6, (1974) in
the Cedar Grove United Baptist Church at West Van Lear with Reverends
Buell Ferguson and James Harrison Blair officiating.

Burial was in the Melvin Hall Cemetery on Davis Branch road with
arrangements under the direction of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
