HERBERT WHEELER

Herbert Wheeler, 77, of Ashland died Friday, March 10 1972 in
Ashland following an extended illness.

He was a mining engineer and was affiliated with the Methodist
Church.

He was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Pack Wheeler.

Immediate survivors include one son, W. Bruce Wheeler of Ashland,
one sister, Mrs. Charles Powers of Ashland, two half-sisters, Mrs.
Hazel Tygrett of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Nancy Martin of
Paintsville, and one half-brother, Herman F. Wheeler of
Paintsville.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Orin Simmerman, Jr., at
2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel.

Burial followed in the Preston Cemetery in Paintsville under
direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
