EARL J. WHITAKER
1924-2007
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m. at the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Earl J. Whitaker, 82, of
Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Friday, Oct. 19 at King’s
Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mr. Whitaker was born Dec. 18, 1924 in Johnson County, Ky., son of
Tan Whitaker and Nora Lee Martin.
He was retired from Chrysler Corp.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Anna Elizabeth Fraley
Whitaker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. The service was officiated
by Paul Wayne Browning, with burial in the Johnson County Memorial
Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
