JEWELL SUE ADAMS
1954-1995
Van Lear resident, Jewell Sue Butcher Adams, 40, died Saturday, May
20. Mrs. Adams was born June 5, 1954, in Johnson County, the daughter
of Nora Webb Butcher and the late Ashley Butcher.
Surviving are her mother: her husband, OrinRay Adams; eight
brothers, Harold, Chester, Gene, Randall, Darrell, Foley, Sheldon and
Charles Butcher, all of Van Lear; and three sisters, Lorene Hall of
Wabash, Indiana, Marie Herrera of Van Lear and Norina Hackworth of
Prestonsburg.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 24, at 12 noon at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Jerry Scott officiating.
Burial will be in the Ashley Butcher Cemetery at Van Lear.
