JAMES BELCHER JR
1919-1975
James Belcher, Jr., 56, died Saturday, April 5 at his home following
an extended illness. A resident of West Van Lear, Mr. Belcher was
born October 2, 1919, the son of Mrs. Ollie Hyden Belcher and the
late James Newton Belcher.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are four brothers, Thomas
Belcher, Fort Gay, WV, Lonnie Belcher, Irid, IN, Bill Belcher, West
Van Lear, and Harry, West Germany.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 7 at 10 a.m. in the chapel
of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home under the direction of the Rev.
Johnnie Sammons with burial following at the Cumbo Cemetery at West
Van Lear.
