Lowell Wilton Blair, 71, of Oil Springs, died Wednesday, March 30, at
St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.

Born Dec. 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Turrell and Iva Joy
Blair
. He was a laborer.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Lee Spradlin Blair; three sons,
Dewayne Douglas Blair of Sitka, James O'Neil Blair of Oil Springs and
Lowell Wesley Blair of Hager Hill; two daughters, Deborah Cantrell of
Oil Springs and Patsy Carol Cantrell of Flat Gap; four brothers,
Charles Blair and James R. Blair, both of Oil Springs, Joe Blair and
Ottis Blair, both of Staffordsville; three sisters, Phyllis Blair and
Garnet Jackson, both of Staffordsville, and Sharon Colvin of Denver; 14
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 2, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, with Danny Williams, Frankie Williams, and Sammy Reed
officiating.

Burial was in Turrell Blair Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
