MORRIS BLAIR
1906-1974
Rites were held Wednesday, June 26, for Morris Blair, 67, retired
miner and railroader of West Van Lear. Mr. Blair died Sunday, June
23, after an extended illness.
He was the son of the late Harlan and Mary Frances Saylor Blair, and
was born in Johnson County in July 1906.
Survivors include a brother, Kelly Blair and a sister, Cynthia Blair,
both of West Van Lear.
John G. Sammons officiated at services in the chapel of the Jones-
Preston Funeral home with burial in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van
Lear.
