ANNA BOLING 1884 1956 Mrs. Anna Bowens Boling, 68, wife of Millard Boling, of West Van Lear, died at her home Thursday morning following an illness of 18 months. Born at Boons Camp, September 12 1884, she was the daughter of Lige and Minnie Murray Bowens. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Paul Boling, Lackey, Ky.; and Orville Boling, Ironton, Ohio; six daughters, Mrs. Ollie Sexton, St Helen, Oregon; Mrs. Gertrude Runyon, Kermit, W. Va.; Mrs. Myrtle Ratliff, West Van Lear; Mrs Thelma Murray, White House, Ky.; Mrs. Ethel Sanders, Toledo, Ohio; and Mrs. Nellie Webb, Lancer, Ky.; and 24 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, John Bowens, Tomahawk; and Sam Bowens, Matewan, W. Va.; and two sisters, Mysilbe Mollette, Tomahawk; and Margaret Bowens, Denver. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the home with Will Horn as officiating minister. Burial was made in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
