Clora Cantrell, 88, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, Nov. 20.
Born March 18, 1915, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Edd and Sarah Adams Cantrell. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cantrell.
Survivors include a son, Henry Cantrell of Sitka; four daughters, Sue
Salyer, Betty Sparks, and Leora Davis, all of Flat Gap, and Maxine
Stambaugh of Sunbury, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-
grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 23, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Elders Eulas Adams and Willis G. Estep officiating.
Burial was in Cantrell Cemetery, Flat Gap, under direction of
Paintsville Funeral Home.
