DOCK CANTRELL
1877-1952
   
Dock Cantrell, 75, passed away Friday, January 25, 1952,
at 3:00 p.m., at his home at Flat Gap after a sudden
Illness.
    
He was a retired farmer and had resided in this county
his entire life.
  
He was born June 26, 1877, the son of James and Louise
McKenzie Cantrell.  His wife, Tallie Young Cantrell,
survives him.
  
Other survivors include one son, Wayne Cantrell, Pedro,
Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. John Curtis, Elna, Ky.; and
Mrs. Wayne Adams, Springfield Ohio., and two brothers, B.
H. Cantrell, and Elijah Cantrell, both of Fuget.
  
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 24, 1952,
at 10:00 a. m. at the residence by the Rev. Lonza Reed,
Rev. Tommie Bailey and Rev. Leonard Walters.
  
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
