NORA CASTLE 1881-1964 Mrs. Nora Castle, 83, Thealka resident, died in a local hospital at 5:40 p.m., Sunday, May 31, following a brief illness. A daughter of the late Jack and Rhoda Robinson, she was born June 8,1881, in this county and had lived at Thealka most of her life. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Joe Castle, preceded her in death in 1929. Surviving are seven sons, Joe Castle, Pikeville; Henry, Gaylord and Dewey Castle all of Thelka; Howard CAstle, Prestonsburg; James Castle, Columbus, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar Preston, Thealka; Mrs. C. R. Patrick, Ashland; Mrs. Charles Patrick, Chelsea, Michigan; a brother, Willie Robinson, Auxier; two sisters, Mrs. Luther Sturgill, Thealka; Mrs. Lonnie Castle of this city. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with Millard Van Hoose and Scott Castle as officiating ministers. Music was by the Thealka Quartet.
