Gus Conley, 94, of Staffordsville, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at
his residence.
  
Born Aug. 20, 1909, in Oil Springs, he was a son of the late Darius
and Anna Rylan Conley. He was a superintendent.
  
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Reed Conley of Staffordsville;
two daughters, Ida Ann Lemaster of Oil Springs, and Sue Dell
Pelphrey of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, May Thornsbury of Greenup;
five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, June 5, at Fishtrap United Baptist
Church with Elders Sammy Reed, Ray McCarty and Melvin Wright
officiating.
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
