JAMES T. COPLEY

James T. Copley, 55, of Paintsville, died Thursday, September 16 1971, at
his home.
   
Services were held Saturday, September 18, in the chapel of the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home.
  
Born in Johnson County in February 1916, he was the son of the lat S.N.
and Marcia Preston Copley.
  
He was an engineer with the State Highway Department, and a member of the
Methodist Church.
  
A brother, Robert Copley lives in Louisville.
  
Rev.J.H. Burton officiated at services.
  
Burial was in the Preston Cemetery at Paintsville.
  
Active pallbearers were Wallace James, Howes Johnson, P.J. Meade, Bill
Short, Paul Whitaker and Wes Mason.
