URCHILL DANIEL
1890-1953

Urchill Daniel, 63, died suddenly at his home at Thealka Monday. Death
was attributed to a heart attack.

Born at Thealka September 1, 1890, he was the son of Winifred and Sally
Adams Daniel. He was a retired coal miner.

He was married in 1910 to Grace Clark who survives.

Surviving besides his wife are four sons, Bill Daniel, Isom Daniel, and
Shade Daniel, all of Thealka, and Bert Daniel, Wharton, W. Va.; three
daughters, Helen Caudill, Bob-White, W. Va., May Preston, city; Frances
Sherman, Thealka; and 25 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the home with
the Rev. Raymond Dale officiating. Music will be by the Paintsville
Quartet.

Burial will be made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
