WALTER ESTEP
1903-1972
Walter Estep, 69, of Flat Gap died August 25, 1972 at a
local hospital after a brief illness.
A construction worker by trade he was the son of the late
William and Polly Evans Estep.
He was born in Johnson County in August 1903.
His wife, Neva Cantrell Estep, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Estep of Flat Gap, and five
grandchildren, Mr. Estep also is survived by three brothers
and sisters, including Ambers Estep and Teresa Salyer of
Flat Gap and Sarah Jane Cantrell of Delaware, Ohio.
Services were held Monday, August 28, 1972 in the chapel of
the Paintsville Funeral Home, with Rev. Orville Burchett
officiating.
Burial followed in the Cantrell Cemetery in Fuget.
