Barbara Hensley Fairchild, 58, of Hager Hill, died Wednesday, Feb.
23, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born July 23, 1946, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late
David and Bonnie Manns Hensley. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fairchild.
Survivors include her husband, James Taylor of Hager Hill; two
daughters, Joann Fairchild-Barber of Staffords-ville, and Bookie
Fairchild-Ginter of Morehead; three brothers, James Hensley of
Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Ray Hensley and Darrell Hensley, both of
Paintsville; seven sisters, Sue Fitzwater, Norma Honeycutt, Evelene
Curtis, and Loretta McKenzie, all of Paintsville, Emma Bright of
Louisa, Margaret Hensley Clouse of Red Bush, and Yvonne Mills of
Tutor Key; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 26, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Jerry Castle officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
