Thornton K. "Chick" Haight, 77, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Nov.
21, 2004 at his residence.
Born June 7, 1927, in Piketon, Ohio, he was a son of the late
Charles and Catherine Valgemore Haight. He was a self-employed
brick mason/carpenter.
Survivors include five sons, Darrell Conely of Staffordsville, Tim
Haight of Paintsville, Eugene Haight and Richard Haight , both of
Richmond, and Randy Haight of Paducah; a stepson, Curtis Conley of
Sitka; a daughter, Vickie Stanley of Paintsville; a stepdaughter,
Karen Bevins of Paintsville; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon, today, Wednesday, Nov. 24, at
Preston Funeral Chapel, Paintsville, with Joe Howard officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Preston Funeral Home.
