THOMAS HAZLETTE JR.
1931-2006
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 11 a.m. at the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Thomas Hazlette Jr., 75, of
Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Sunday, Feb. 19 at Mountain
Manor Nursing Home of Paintsville.
Mr. Hazlette was born Feb. 9, 1931 in Johnson County, Ky., son of
the late Tom and Hannah Collinsworth Hazlette.
He was a painting and decorating contractor and a U.S. Army
veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel Pelphrey Hazlette of Paintsville;
two sons, Thomas Price “Tim” Hazlette of Nicholasville, Ky., and
Phillip Scott Hazlette of Paintsville; two brothers, Clyde
Hazlette of Hager Hill, Ky., and Sammie Hazlette of Ypsilanti,
Mich.; two sisters, Fannie Louise Ehrman of Shelby, Ohio, and
Sarah Ann Hazlette of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Toby Wheeler and Herb Arms, with
burial following in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville, Ky.
