ARLEN HILL
1895-1974
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 10 in the Chapel of the
Jones- Preston Funeral Home for Arlen (Darb) Hill, 79, who passed
away Saturday, December 7 in Englewood, OH, following an extended
illness.
Linville Ball, Jessie Smith and Lonnie Wright were officiating
ministers.
Burial followed in the Hill Cemetery at Relief.
Mr. Hill was a retired farmer, born January 12, 1895, in Morgan
County, the son of Joe and Linda Pelphrey Hill, deceased.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Burchett Hill.
Surviving are three sons, Hobert Hill, Auxier, Tollie Hill, Winn;
Wallace Hill, Englewood, OH; one daughter, Kathleen Blevins, Dayton;
five half brothers, Eddie Hill, Relief, Jess Hill, Ashland, Lloyd
Hill, Flat Gap, Lundy Hill, Relief; Conn Hill, Ashland, five half
sisters, Maggie Cantrell, Westwood, KY; Ruthie Dawson, Van Lear; Mary
Cantrell, address unknown, Beulah Cantrell, Red Bush and Mintha
Daniels, West Liberty.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home.
