BEULAH KEATON
1905-1974

Beulah Keaton, 68, of Davis Branch succumbed Wednesday, June 19, at
her home after an extended illness.

Born in Johnson County in October 1905, she was the daughter of Henry
and Mint Conley Cantrell, and was a member of the Freewill Baptist
church.

Mrs. Keaton is survived by her husband, Lewis Keaton, a son, Marvin
Keaton of Middlesboro, and two daughters, Bonnie Sue Reed and Mary
Ann Keaton, both of Paintsville.

Surviving brothers and sisters include Bill Cantrell of Buskirk, and
Mary Tackett and Mrs. Linnie Montgomery, both of Paintsville. Eight
grandchildren also survive.

Services were held Saturday, June 22 at the Thealka Freewill Baptist
Church with Rev. Charles Stapleton and Rev. Irvin Castle officiating.

Burial was in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear. The Jones-Preston
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
