LOUIS O. KRETZER

Louis O. Kretzer, 74, of Meally, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born July 16, 1932, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Burdette C. and Bertha Mae McKnight Kretzer. He was a welder.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Addie Kretzer, in
1986; three brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include three sons, Tim Louis Kretzer of Paintsville,
Greg Kretzer of Auxier, and Mat Kretzer of Hager Hill; a
daughter, Katrina Lafferty of Meally; four brothers, Doug
Kretzer of Spokane, Wash., Kenny Kretzer of Lancaster, Morris
Kretzer of Florida, and Ervin Randall Kretzer of South Carolina;
two sisters, Roberta Lemaster of Mt. Moris, Mich., and Anna
Florence Hall of Lowmansville; six grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; two-step-grandchildren; and three step- great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 22, at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Ken
Chambers officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
